Meteos Wars prominently featured downloadable content (DLC) packs for the game. Each pack added nine planets and nine accessories corresponding to these planets. The planets themselves could be used in any mode outside of Mission Mode, and the added accessories could be used anywhere.

These planets could also be used in online play, whether or not your opponent owned the pack the planet was in.

Each pack sold for $4.38 USD/£2.98 GBP/MSPoints368 MSP, and there were two packs available for purchase.
