Wuud is a planet found in Meteos and Meteos Wars.

Planetary Data

Wuud is an average-sized (for the Meteos universe), green, crescent shaped planet, and is actually a single tree, as the description states. When in Meteos Wars, however, it's shown that the planet is not only slightly reflective, but also has ridges on it, like that of a croissant .

Inhabitants

The Wuudites themselves seem to be a race of sapient trees, being a herb green, and having a stout body with a large circular head, with some sort of tendrils growing out of the sides. They seem to protect the tree and provide nourishment to it through photosynthesis, with the tree in return providing the Wuudites with a place to live.

Meteos Data

Unlocking

Wuud made its first appearance in Meteos, as an unlockable planet. To attain it, the player could fuse it for 800 H20, 3000 Herb, and 1 Soul Meteos. Its Sound Set, Earth Rhythms, could be fused for 500 Herb Meteos.

Contrary to what some sources may say, Wuud cannot be obtained by launching any number of meteos.

Meteos Encounters

Wuud, in its first incarnation, featured a very high frequency of Herb Meteos, followed by far lower but equal amounts of Air, H20, Fire and Soil Meteos, and trace amounts of Iron and Zap. Wuud's physics essentially combine Brabbit's low gravity with Grannest's non-scaling launch power. It has an extra column when compared to the two, making it a strange planet to use. Despite this, Wuud is built for defensive play and high scoring. However, with its odd size and middling launch power, Wuud can be quite difficult to master, making it best suited for advanced players.

Meteos Wars Data

Wuud made its most recent appearance in Meteos Wars, as Downloadable Content. To be unlocked for use, the Galaxy Pack had to be purchased.

Wuud had very little about it changed, with only its Fire frequency being altered, by being replaced with Poison. The transition from stylus to controller, however, was not kind to it. By removing the ability to lock the cursor onto an ascending stack of Meteos, Wuud lost a portion of its effectiveness as a defensive planet, but in return, its launch power was buffed slightly, along with the addition of its Planet Impact, Armageddon, making it still suitable for advanced users or better.
